Your request was assigned ID# 467196 (COC12-037). The City of Cleveland (the "city"), which you represent, received a request for information pertaining to funds paid to or received by the city in connection with the photographic traffic signal enforcement system for a specified time period. You state most of the requested information has been or will be released to the requestor. You claim portions of the submitted information are excepted from disclosure under section 552.130 of the Government Code. (1) We have considered the exception you claim and reviewed the submitted representative sample of information. (2) Section 552.130(a)(2) of the Government Code excepts from disclosure information related to a motor vehicle title or registration issued by an agency of this state or another state or country. Gov't Code § 552.130(a)(2). Upon review, we agree the city must withhold the vehicle identification number you have highlighted under section 552.130 of the Government Code. As no other exceptions are raised, the remaining information must be released. This letter ruling is limited to the particular information at issue in this request and limited to the facts as presented to us; therefore, this ruling must not be relied upon as a previous determination regarding any other information or any other circumstances.
