"Public information of the agency" or "agency information" is information recorded in any medium (whether electronically or on paper, audio or video tape, microfilm, etc.) that is collected, assembled, or maintained by that agency or by another person or entity on behalf of the agency and the agency either owns the information or has a right of access to it.
Printed material offered for sale or free distribution by the agency created for the purpose of conveying information to the public. Only agency publications that are requested through a written open records request are meant to fall within this category for reporting purposes.
Agency information reflecting an itemized summary of internal agency expenditures for a given period of time along with proposals for financing them.

This category includes requests for the names of agency officials as well as requests for the voting records of agency officials where a vote has taken place.
Applications and supporting documents completed for the purpose of attaining any permit or license from an agency.
Any and all information relating to agency employees or officials including any investigations conducted on an employee or official.
An agency contract accepting a seller's offer to deliver goods or services with payment to be made following delivery. A written authorization calling on a vendor or supplier to furnish goods or services to the person making the order.
Agency information produced or maintained in the course of the agency's compliance with regulations or reporting requirements.
An agency regulation or bylaw governing agency procedures or controlling conduct.
Student directory information includes the following: the student's name, address, telephone listing, date and place of birth, major field of study, participation in officially recognized activities and sports, weight and height of members of athletic teams, dates of attendance, degrees and awards received, and the most recent previous educational agency or institution attended by the student. Agency information pertaining to the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data.
Information relating to or copies of any rulings or final orders handed down from an administrative or quasi-judicial body. Examples include Attorney General Open Records Decisions, Attorney General Open Records Letter Rulings, Attorney General Opinions, any order or ruling from an administrative law judge, and State Office of Administrative Hearings rulings, including dispute resolution findings.
An official statement of facts or proceedings prepared by a licensed peace officer in order to give an account of, to relate, to convey or to disseminate information. NOTE: THIS CATEGORY OF INFORMATION APPLIES TO REPORTS OF LICENSED PEACE OFFICERS EMPLOYED BY STATE AGENCIES.

Information is to be reported in this category when an individual is utilizing his or her statutory right of access to his or her own information maintained by the agency.
